Vegan Patty Dough

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. Add all of the dry ingredients to a large mixing bowl until combined. Add the grated vegan butter and work thoroughly into the dough with your hands and fingertips until it looks sandy or like breadcrumbs (you can use a food processor and pulse a few times to achieve this faster). Add the cold water and agave and mix until the dough comes together, working quickly and vigorously with your hands. Put the dough into the fridge while you get your fillings and workstation ready to roll the dough. Take out the chilled dough and divide into about 18 small equal pieces to make mini pie patties as pictured, or you can make bigger patties and skip this step. Roll out each piece into a ball and then flatten it into a circle using a rolling pin. You can use a mini circle cutter to make it a more precise circle. Add your fillings into the middle (enough to be able to cover it without spilling out) and take another piece of circled dough to cover it - like a pie. Seal with the tip of a fork and bake for about 25 mins, or until patties are golden 💚
